MAMA AFRICA PENDO
Transforming Lives, Building Hope
Mama Africa Pendo (MAP) is a community-based organization (CBO) that began its journey on 15th March 2015, founded by the compassionate visionary Miss Mary Njeru. With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by families in informal settlements, MAP set out to transform lives by providing vital support to marginalized children and their caregivers.
Initially, we started as a small day-care program for nine malnourished children, offering meals, healthcare, and basic needs. Today, we have grown into a thriving centre, supporting over 350 children aged 2 to 18 years, providing free education, two daily meals, and holistic care. Additionally, we continue to support 38 high school students and 26 young adults preparing for college or university.
